All proceeds from fund-raisers support CAPS, a non-profit agency described as a role model for quality prevention
programs by the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s Office. Each year CAPS provides more than 10,000 individuals with effective parenting, children’s, and community education programs at no charge. The CAPS’ staff works to fulfill the agency’s mission by teaching children to set their own boundaries and to know what to do when those boundaries are threatened. We also work, through weekly group meetings, to teach families nurturing and loving behaviors. The services we offer are proven by pre and post testing to make a positive impact in strengthening families and reducing the incidence of child abuse in our community.
